In our class we read Romeo and Juliet, a romantic tragedy written by Shakespeare. We did several discussions about it and after reading the play we saw the movie. In my opinion I prefer more the book, because the movie didn't show some important scenes, such as when they kill Paris. Also in the movie they show the family feud because of the companies that is really different of what was the theme on the book. The movie show many things like the aren't in the book, like when Romeo and Juliet died.
The movie was really violent and exaggerate, the characters have guns and act as gangsters, they fight really violent and exaggerate a lot, the movie converts from a tragedy into a epic murder. Also I like to imagine how are the people acting and how they are and, in the movie they just put an image that in some cases i don't think they are.
I recommend this book to all the people because it shows love and what conflicts can develop in the world.
